Conferencing and recording
When the Live module is enabled, audio and video run through the installation’s LiveKit service, with recording handled by its egress service.
Instructor controls
Instructors can lock entry, moderate participants, manage raised hands, end the room, and control recording. Session comments and attachments stay with the occasion they belong to.

A self-hosted Excalidraw workspace, scoped to the course.

- Scenes synchronize over Socket.IO with defined behavior when two people edit the same thing at once.
- Protected persistence
- Scenes are stored under the same protected access rules as other course material, not in a public bucket.
- A local asset boundary
- Whiteboard assets stay inside the installation. The board does not reach out to a third-party service to render what a class drew.

Chat and documents
When enabled, Chat runs on the installation’s Matrix service with protected attachments and course-aware conversations. The Documents module opens supported course files in a protected collaborative editor and preserves the original download when editing is unavailable.

Present an existing course poll
Give an existing discussion poll a readable classroom view while voting stays in the ordinary course flow.
Aggregate results for the room
An Instructor can present the poll question and options with aggregate counts and percentages. Results start hidden and can be revealed when the class is ready; individual choices never appear.
Students keep their normal participation
The presentation includes the ordinary authenticated Student participation link. Hiding results changes only the presentation screen, not Student visibility in the discussion.
